Longevity Care in Cody, WY

A Cody clinic visit for people who want to stay capable on a ranch, a job, or a trail — not a boutique IV lounge.

Longevity without the brochure

Longevity marketing loves ice baths and celebrity blood panels. The Legacy Clinic is a Beck Avenue practice in Cody, Wyoming. When Dr. Thoma talks about a long, capable life he means grip, gait, sleep, hormones that still make sense, a gut that does not rule the day, and metabolic numbers that do not quietly become diabetes while everyone calls it “normal aging.” The R.E.S.T.O.R.E. MILA protocol is his named way of stacking those pieces. It is not a product you buy off a landing page.

A longevity visit still starts with the two-day functional exam. We will not hang a “longevity” label on a B12 shot and send you home. The exam looks at cardiovascular findings, neurological screens, orthopedic limits, and the lifestyle load of Park County winters, shift work, and ranch hours. If your goal is to still throw a hay bale at seventy, that goal belongs in the intake. If your goal is to look 35 on Instagram, this is the wrong clinic.

Dr. Thoma’s path here matters for this page. He is a former All-American pole vaulter who later trained at Logan College, practiced in West St. Louis County from 2015 to 2023, then moved to the North Fork. He knows what an aging athlete’s body does when you ignore recovery. He also knows Cody does not have a dozen competing “longevity institutes.” The work is one physician, one case manager, posted hours, license 825.

What we measure, and what we will not sell

Day 1 establishes a baseline: vitals, urinalysis, and the exam. Labs that actually change a longevity plan — thyroid patterns, glucose handling, inflammatory markers, nutrient status — are ordered when the history says they would. Genetic reports you already paid for can be reviewed; we do not require a new consumer DNA kit to start. Imaging is not a longevity souvenir. It is ordered when an orthopedic or neurologic finding needs a picture.

We will not put date of birth, hormone levels, or medication lists on the public website form. Request an appointment with contact details only. The rest belongs in the secure intake. That is slower than a biohacking checkout flow. It is the only ethical shape for a YMYL clinic page.

People in Powell, Lovell, Meeteetse, Greybull, Basin, and Worland use this page because they want a Cody physician who will still be here next winter. There is no satellite office. Budget the drive, budget $495 for the start, and budget the possibility that the plan includes food and sleep before peptides. Last reviewed September 15, 2026. Aging on a ranch calendar, not a conference stage

Longevity medicine as an industry sells youth. This clinic sells remaining able to work a place, sit a horse, ski a morning, or stay useful in a kitchen when the grandkids visit. Those are different products. If your marker of success is a birthday-party photograph, say so — we may still help — but the exam is built around function: stamina, recovery, metabolic noise, and whether pain is stealing sleep that then steals everything else.

Hormones come up because they come up in the forties and fifties, not because this is a hormone mill. Dr. Thoma has written publicly that hormone replacement without a root look often fails. That sentence is not a sales attack on your endocrinologist. It is a warning that a pellet and a prayer will not outrun a gut, a sleep debt, or a training load that never recovered from the last decade. Medication changes still belong with the prescriber who can legally make them.

We will not protocol you from a consumer wearables dump. You may bring the dump. We will still take blood pressure in the building. Wearables lie in winter when sleeves and diesel and altitude all stack. Cody is not a laboratory. The exam has to work here.

If you want a concierge who texts at midnight, this is the wrong practice. Posted hours exist so the physician can also have a North Fork life. That is not laziness. It is how a one-doctor clinic stays solvent and kind. Request an appointment inside those hours, or leave a logistics message, and wait for a human.

Longevity in this county is also altitude, winter, and work that does not pause for a recovery week. The exam has to name those without turning them into excuses. A plan that only works in July is not a plan. Day 2 should still make sense in February.

There is no longevity lounge in Powell or Lovell. The drive to Cody is the filter. $495 starts the two-day exam. License 825. NPI 1679942775 / 1316783673. Last reviewed September 15, 2026.
